While looking for an iPhone cover to replace my POS Incipio cover (WTF is with these things—they get gross and scaly so quickly!), I thought I might try for a blingy little cover. Never in a million years did I think I would find something so perfect: a company that will craft you a personalized, crystal-studded iPhone cover that’s a portrait of yourself!
I’m always paranoid that my phone is going to get stolen, but who’d steal a phone with my pic on back? (Well, unless the burglar was in love with me.) The only stumbling block is the price. To get the customized portrait in Swarovski crystals, I’m going to have to come up with $600.
If I were a schill-blogger, I’d just contact the company and arrange a barter. I like to think I have scruples, but you know … every girl has her price. And mine just might be sparkly and shaped like my face… .
